Starburst Creative
Interior Designer, Kerri Peyton approached us to help her design a ceiling installation that would add character to Starburst Creative's new downtown Edmonton office. We wanted to create a modular installation that could be assembled on site. Using a laser cutter we created connectors that allowed us to assemble these small starbursts to react to the architecture of the office. The connectors were charred to produce a black charcoal finish, an ancient japanese process called Shou Sugi Ban, to contrast the modern technology that was used to produce them.
